About Our Team

It goes without saying that our team are qualified and experienced individuals. But just as important, our team are passionate about what they do and are committed to providing the best care and support possible to our service users.

Before anyone joins our team, applicants go through a rigorous selection process including an in-depth interview with service user input, an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check, previous employment and character reference checks and we verify that stated qualifications are genuine and current.

We recruit people with the needs of the service user they will be caring for in mind to make sure they are a good match in terms of their previous experience. We also liaise with the relevant local agencies including CTPLD, Advocacy, and Safe Guarding.

All of our team receive training in Safe Guarding Adults and common induction standards, including, Medication Training, Epilepsy, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, First Aid, Health and Safety, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty, we employ accredited trainers to provide training for mental health needs, de-escalation techniques and challenging behaviour among others.

We have a robust and transparent disciplinary policy to deal with any issues or concerns quickly and fairly but our primary concern will always be the health, safety and wellbeing of the people we care for.
